STOP THE DATA CENTER AT PRICE & DOBSON
A 40-acre AI and advanced computing development — including a dedicated AI data center less than 1,000 ft from Chandler homes — is now under review by the City of Chandler. The proposed zoning also supports high-intensity computing uses, including power-dense operations such as crypto-mining. The proposed Price Road Data Center raises serious concerns for Chandler residents due to its size, location, and industrial-level impacts.
This information comes from the developer’s own community notice.
We must act before the December 11, 2025 City Council meeting.
WHY THE PRICE ROAD DATA CENTER IS A CONCERN FOR CHANDLER
- 24/7 noise from cooling towers, industrial fans, and rooftop mechanical units
- Large diesel backup generators tested regularly
- Massive power usage similar to crypto-mining infrastructure
- Water usage concerns during ongoing regional drought
- Increased traffic and construction impacts
- Potential property value risk
- Better, more appropriate industrial land exists one mile north in Chandler’s tech corridor which is already zoned for this type of use and has properties currently for sale.
These impacts are not typical of commercial development — they are consistent with industrial-scale data operations.
